Deputy Accountant General
The Deputy Accountant General
The Deputy Accountant General reports directly to the Accountant General.
Responsibilities
• Keep control revenue and expenditure figures and also controls on all other accounts and financing; • Assist monthly at Treasury Bill meetings; • Monitor the cash-flow situation and the credit balance on Paymaster Account; • Monitor the daily transactions in Special Issues of Treasury Bills; • Supervises the purchase, egistration and issue of books purchased or received as gifts from the Library of Congress; • Called from time to time to lecture in the Government Course mounted by the Principal Training Officer.
